tie off rings
Southern ocean = big swells, just gotta pick your days.
The rocks are smooth and there is often nowhere to tie a rope around yet alone wedge a rod holer in the rocks. The man made rings that are now around dunsborough should be availabe before more lives are lost at these locations. I nearly went for a swim myself, was watching the water a fair way back when my feet shot out from under me and i landed on my arse. I then started to slide down a rock that had virtually no angle to speak of and was grabbed by Addie just as i was starting to loose momentum, not that i'm sure how i could of gathered any in the first place but i did. In no way were the rocks wet, just a touch greasy from the southerly and even after the event i could not believe that it was even remotely dangerous. It seems funny to me that places like kalbarri and quobba have life rigs, steep has tie off spots on every platform, but places like kingie rock ect have absolutly nothing natural or man made to keep people from going in, and personally i'd rather go for a swim at any of the above mentioned places than the southern ocean.

Its not hard
2 make your own tie back point if you got the right gear, I self taught myself and used ropes and tie back point in day to day work as a high rise window cleaning and some chimney stack work in and around Kwinana
