I live a 5 minute drive away and since I have the month off due to medical probs I'm fishing every night if I can do it, the Mrs doesn't mine at all.
I fish Bridport Point, there enough post on here to find where that is.
Tailor rigs are simple just a very shiney set of gangs , mmm like a crome black, NO sinker, long leader to a swivel, use 25lb or less swivel, you know the tiny one's. cast it out and reel in slowly, give it a tug every now and then and you should have a strike,
I find the 6 foot 6 spining rods work better than a monster rod or surf rod, that for my local thou plus its a good fight on a 6"6
The hooks seem's to shine in the moon light, some thing I think the Tailor look for other than just smell of mulie. the shine in the mulie colours, silver etc etc
it went really bad, did not even manage to get the rod out of the car. the wind was blowing like crazy and sand were flying. cant even open eyes without sand getting into them. just not my day.
Yes it's good to catch different species of fish in one place
So far I've caught, Port Jackson, Eagle ray, Tailor, Whiting, Herring, Garfish, Tarwhine, Yellow Tail, Trumpeters, Western Australian Butter Fish, Long Tom

Good work Karl, good to get the whiting and gardie as a bonus!
If we can hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.
