Monday's Rainbow

I got the chance to head down to Harvey today due to the "lets go fishing rule " my workers agree to.
Third cast i landed this nice Rainbow on a my new rod and reel, a few more fish were seen but none hooked .

Vry nice Grant, was this one on your fly rod, if so what fly and which causway was this at.

It was quite windy so i started with a Blue Fox vibrax in the black colour with red dots on the blade. This worked on the third cast but i think with the storm coming in the barometer plumeted and the fish shut down.
This was at the third causeway, the only spot we could find on that side with some shelter from the wind.
Yeah Mike that music was a bit of a joke , i thought it was funny finding a song called " Fly Fishing with Eric Banner "
When i fly fish down there i use mostly Wooly Buggers in various paterns. ie, olive green, black and grey, with and without bead heads, and some custom variations from Fly World in Bayswater/Maylands.
