Headed out with oracle for a metro salmon hunt this morning - poor move conditions were crap to be nice. Hit a local reef and 3rd cast on a small stick bait nailed a nice salmonella, things went quiet after that with weed being a pain fouling the lure every cast. I switched to a small jig head and z man plastic. Few casts in I let it sink to the bottom trying to see if the salmon were lower down. Few twitches up and bang, smashed on the drop. Given the location I picked kingy or sambo but a few minutes and some nervous moments up pops old mate - great fun in 8m of water.
