Estimated 15+kg GT from shore at the pier.
Note the actual distance from the pier itself, and a reminder to all: Please stay outside the restriction zone marked by the yellow poles.
Taken on Craftbait GT-3 + Decoy 10/0 + Varivas 300lb split rings + Carpenter Wild Violence + Saltiga GT (yes yes overkill :S).

Many years ago you could have a dive around that pier (as long as you didnt touch anything) and I can assure you there were GT's under there that would make your jaw drop along with the trout, rankins, huge Baracuda etc etc etc
I've even seen video footage under those logs and it is amazing!!
