These white duo jigs you use, what model and size etc are they? I tried to find them on the internet, it seems there is the great white, which doesn't look all white in the picture, the D squid 95 in neo pearl which doesnt have the little wings. Can you help us out here?
Pearl on the money . Duo do not have wings .( feathers) keep in mind take some getting use to . No good in shallow 15 to 40 feet unreal . I lost one today . Complete angler rocko sells them . Since daiwa took over there prongs and glue brilliant . Also price dropped
When you cast sideways . So if it’s 24 feet I count to 20 then couple of jigs then tell in some. I just repeat until under boat. Eric I never use sounder for it just glasses . Look for real sack patches in broken ground

How do you find them
Hi LJ
We normally look for squid by being able to view the bottom, so max about 7 to 8 metres.
What do you need to look for on the sounder to find them deeper than that

Black patches, I squid a lot with John and have picked up a lot of tricks with squiding with John.
You are looking for the same ground type, just deeper. polaroid glasses are a must to make out the patches in the deeper water.
More drum lines, kill the bloody sharks!
