I saw a documentary where a few guys were catching marlin larvae for research purposes. They would motor along really slowly and when they spotted one (god knows how!) they would scoop them up in a little net. The marlin were about the size of ur pinkie... figure that!

Jnr Marlin, they loose the sail like dorsal fin as they get older!
