Two Rocks Dhufish on jig 3/10/10

Bit of a slow day for me on Pete D's boat till this turned up! It was 75cm long and he took a 130g Shout Shab Shab in straight silver. We only went back to the spot to get a few sambos for some exercise before heading in, so this was a very happy suprise! For the full report click here.

In truth I was having a quiet chuckle that my recent trip with SouthCity104 yielded not one foul-hooked fish, but I got back into action on this trip with a jagged pilotfish early on. When we were bringing this fish up I was tangled with Pete and the jig dropped out of boatside while I had my hand in it's mouth. We dropped the jig back on for the pic =)

Nice Jamie, we found softies to work so much better when it was calm on Sunday. Jigs in the early morn.
Maybe because 1.5oz jigheads were reaching the bottom when i drift slowed.
