Yesterday effort
Got to take advantage of yesterdays weather and headed out with a couple of mates, plan was to catch some bait then a quick dhuie bash followed by heading out to one of my spots in the 200’s. The fishing was a bit quite to start with, with a few small dhu’s, BB ect coming on board then a larger dhu that was not in the best shape so he was dispatched and the call was made to head deep. First drift and it didn’t take long for the ever present snapper to find our baits and a few quickly lined the esky follow by a solid hook up on my mates PE6 combo. It was a stale mate for a while till it finally gave up the fight and started floating, not long after my mates first GB was on board and to say he was stoked in an understatement. A few more drops and we headed in to be home nice and early. Also had thousands of dolphins and birds putting a show on which was pretty special to see, couldn’t believe how close they got without getting hit. Anyway thanks for reading

that dolphin pack was nuts! birds smashing the surface, dolpins exploding out, you would think you could pull a tuna out of it!! but nothing.

Pretty much broke my 15kg
Pretty much broke my 15kg scales so not really but we thought around 25ish, The snaps and dhu are all around 60-70cm but look 30cm next to the cod.
