Made it here 10 days a go. Only just got the internet on this arvo so I've been out of the loop for a while. Been hard to get an accurate weather forecast lately so I've only taken the kids snorkelling over to Direction Island a couple of times.

Had some late arvo fun a few times with little queenies/Gt's on the bream gear in Beadon Creek.

At this stage weather is looking good for the weekend so we'll give it a serious shake then.

How did you go on the January cod trip?

Took a newbie up and he was BAD LUCK , managed about 40 fish biggest 2 kg's .

Frogs are the killers  now to find what else they like , I need to find some cicada's and grass hopper lures .

PS been getting some good size fish in the upper reaches of the swan with the soft placcy frogs too , now who would of thought it .( biggest brim would give 35 cm a nudge and Mulla around 6 kilo's.)

Turned eye hooks , thru the head and up out the arse .

Weighted jigs if any current around just the hook if still water , work 'em like a placcie.

I can just see all the tackle shops being asked if they stock frog lures .

BCF joondalup has River2sea placcie frogs for about $8 and you get about 6 frogs.
