Really nice looking fish. How far up did it hit your jig?

Can't quite remember colin, think we were in about 30m at the time and I guess it was probably about mid water.

good fish jay any big smoke ups.i fished the foul on monday plastics and the rabi jigs were going off but ended up a expensive day hooking some good fish but the grey overcoats got them all!moved to north west reef first drop on a gulp crab 68cm bone 20 pd braid 40 leader 2500certateR st croix rod next drop 71 trout on a gulp again then the unstopable bones moved in and got cleaned up awsome power them fish moved to heavier tackle didnt get abite went back to lite gear got smashed straight away funny that!

Yeah Skinny a couple of good smokings on the jigs aye, reckon one was a decent Chinaman. We caught GT's, rankins, crimson sea perch, tuna, gold spot trevs and cod on the jigs. Was an awesome day.

Good to hear you did alright on the Raba jigs, we gave them a go but they were only effective in the shallower water, no good for deep water jigging.
