Decied I would go out and try my luck this morning from some Metro Stones. My aim was to try and find some Salmon,but I didn't get any of them. When I arrived I picked a spot with one other person fishing nearby who had already been there for quite a few hours. I grabbed a couple of of my recently caught baits and cast out two lines. The water was flat calm and the breeze that was there was more or less at my back.
Five minutes later I was on 
unbelievable but true and a short while later after a few short runs and headshakes the other fisho helped me land it. Whoohoo, just over 7kg and 78cm.

Lots of hours and days with stuff all too, but when it all comes together its worth it.

i would be stoked to catch that off a boat but off the stones thats a wicked effort, i never really have the patience to fish off land around here any more exp.(occasionaly woodies)
