Now that looks like a solid tooona! After watching so many Japanese videos of guys getting absolutely destroyed catching one is definately on the to-do list.

You're right. On this particular trip there were a few bluewater hunters that made up the crew. This particular dogtooth which would have pushed 70kg was attacked by a tiger shark after being speared. Can't say I agree with some of their gamefish targets, but these guys are very skilled and are either mad or very brave to be floating in and around those dropoffs.

I would want to catch one just to keep its jaws for framing =)

Can't say I would try and spear something that big to start with, And could you imagine once you speared it and got draged a bit if it wasn't a direct hit. Then all of a sudden your giant fish is being eaten by an even bigger fish (TIGER SHARK).
