Foam
Hey Sean,
What's the block of foam behind the lure for? Extra buoyancy or as a stop to position the hook set way back in the skirt.

Lure experiments
Hey John,
Might sound strange, but the foam sponge was stuffed right up into the lure head after being soaked in tuna oil.....don't know if it made any difference...but it caught fish
