big kev .how was it in onslow? did ya end up finding the supermarket.what was the weather like? what else did ya catch?
always in it just the depth that varies

ugly!!! have heard that it must be slow fishing to catch one of those... is this true?? i would have cut that off and not risked getting jabbed....

Not sure if its a stonefish Big Kev, think it might be a stargazer or something like that.

Weather was against us too windy to go too far wide.Adam its not a Stargazer but have been informed it may be a Frogfish whatever,it looks like a Stoney to me so I took no chances.Luke the fishing was very slow. We anchored behind Direction Island sheltered from the elements all up we kept 5 Blueline Emperors,1 Trout,1 Chinaman some asorted Cod,Snappa,Spannish Flag which were released.I also caught and released a nice Queenie which took a set of gangs that were retrieved at pace no bait.Planning a trip in March better weather I hope.

stone fish are more ugly than that.
