Help with identifying fish
Submitted by craiga74 on Wed, 2007-05-30 03:36.
I caught this and I'm not sure what it is. I originally thought it was a type of emperor due to the colours around the eye but can't find it in any books. It had a very defined swallowtail and was 40cm from the tip of tail to nose. Any help in identifying it would be appreciated

Port Hedland
Max, caught it about 30k's out from Port Hedland, and thanks Adam, I looked on the net and found some pictures of a Rainbow Monocle Bream which were similar. It was pretty tasty as well.
