Walpole Black Bream

Our fishing trip was shut down pretty heavily because of the rain, but we still managed to get into a few small blackies.
The rock fishing out at the steps didn't happen because of the swell. The beach fishing at blues holes didn't happen because of the chocolate barrels and wind. Big quarram didn't work because the track in was submerged. Kingy Rock track was also well under water. So many of the fishing missions got shut down because of the conditions, but atleast a few small blackies satisfied the fishing hunger. Heres a few pics:

Hey adam nice effort. Try
Hey adam nice effort. Try using a lighter jig head such as 1/16th oz with a smaller softy, those bigger ones sink to fast . Alot of the time fish smash the softies on the drop and a heavy jig head drops too fast. You will get alot more hook ups this way.
If your keen for a fish now your back in perth, theres a few river species starting to show up. Ill give you a PM with a piccy ;) We will go get em one night after work

Yeh, i left my other smaller jigs at home, with my tackle box! DOH.. not too smart when going fishing, but atleast my mate had enough gear to get us through.. Still, can't complain, I was pretty happy with that as a start..
Will have to take you up on that offer, nothing like powerful fish on light gear.. I think your secrets out of the bag thou, i read something about the river invasion in fridays paper.
