Another barra report

After yesterday's success I couldn't resist going down for another crack at some early season barra this afternoon. Had a red hot little session nailing three to 75cm all on lures. Gave poppers a shot in the hope I could get my first barra on popper. Had a couple of strikes but they didn't hit them as hard as the minnows and it didn't hook up. All fish were released.

Was fathers day today so i didnt get a chance to go for a fish, hung out with the little uns got a new mono cast net and a ig bloody toblerone so it was pretty cool

I'm in Dampier for work this
I'm in Dampier for work this week, well 7 mile actually but not at the cape.
Next weekend neaps don't look too flash for fishing this spot but the following weekend Saturday 15th with the high at 12:40pm (basically same tides as this wk end) would allow us to fish the run out during the afternoon. Keen?
