i landed 4 that day and let 2 go that were about 5kg, i kept 2 around the 9kg mark :) all 4 of us onboard landed fish between 8.8 and 10.4kg and let a few go up to the 6kg mark. i think we caught about 15 fish that session, it was mayhem.....

This video shows 5 fish from my brother and his families recent fishing trip up the Cape. I put the Barra and his Black Jew in there more as a size reference to the massive one Greg caught which starts around the 5 minute mark. It's truly a fish of a lifetime and is over the 100 lb mark.

With my boat out of action , too much work and the crap weather I'm going crazy.

So i sat down today and went through some of the video i've taken (and some mates footage ) over the last 12 months.

A years fishing hightights cramed into 6 minutes. I've still got heaps to organize including a few trips to steep point. I hope to sort out a few clips before the end of the year.

This is the video Lisa and i made. Lisa did all the editing Camera used were my Go pro and Lisa's sony vid cam with underwater housing. Came up a treat and what a memorable time. Loved every miniut of it.

Here's a short video I made of 4 drops Tim had at a spot we named 'Graveyards' where jigs go to die.  The video is a bit average, but I think you get the idea of how successful a piece of metal was at this spot.  Of course, even though the jigs were successful, unfortunately we weren't - but it did provide a solid half an hour or more of entertainment, well, me watching Tim get towelled up.  Hope you enjoy.
