21 Aug - Ant Atoll Fish and Dive - Dive
After getting stuck into some tuna for an hour or so the wife and I decided to go and explore the west side of Ant Atoll and look for a dive spot. I had dived there previously but couldn't find the exact spot again. We found another likely looking spot and jumped in. As soon as we were in the water we were joined by a white-tipped reef shark that stayed with us for the entire dive. None of the photos I've posted have been photo-shopped; these are the true colours. It was a fantastic cliff-face dive. The edge doesn't seem to end. I stuck my head over the edge and immediately pulled it back, it was just nothingness and was pretty bloody freaky, cool but freaky. The vis was easily 50m. The third last photo shows how clear the water is, amazing.

Pohnpei
I'm a WA lad that's living in Pohnpei Micronesia for the next couple of years with work. Love fishing and diving so taking the opportunity to come here was an easy decision.

Fill Price
$5 (USD) for a fill. So cheap as chips. The fact that I can take the company boat to do it whenever I feel the need is the real sweetener. It's definately a third world country based on infastructure but 1st world with some of the fishing and diving opportunities. I can put up with mouldy vegies from a shipping container for this lifestyle.
