Interesting to see this has failed again up north, I reckon there has been a huge cover up since the start, someone has to pay big time.

Very crap situation all round IMO.

the only thing paying for this is the marinelife.why do they have to drill so many holes just to cap the things off again.? this is shocking and there will be huge consequences of this.

No one is going to pay!
no one will be held responsible at the end of the day (and if there was they'll probably be moved sideways with a big bonus)there will be an enquiry the results of which will not be made public and they only ones to suffer will be the marine life.

Surely they can do something else? Its a long time, I wonder if it is still leaking at the same rate as when it started?

I can imagine even with latest modern technology it must be pretty difficult to drill 2kms depth and intercept a pipe thats the size of a dinner plate.
