Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Mate, I’m getting tuned up for it now, 47 degrees and windy, just no humidity which we’ll get on the coast. But, it’s to chill and fish, and I can’t wait.

G’day Carnarvonite, I don’t
G’day Carnarvonite, I don’t know that place, not seeing it on any maps, is it part of Ningaloo station or part of the national parks further up? We are currently parked up at Nanutarra while we wait and see what the fires are doing further up the highway.

Ningaloo station
Jane Bay is south of Ningaloo homestead, you head in on the homestead road and turn off at the "rope gate" if it is still there, about 4km from the homestead.
Been a while since I had my bus in there but we used to contact them on Ch 1 uhf, they have a repeater that covers the whole area

Hi Canarvonite, I’ll need to
Hi Canarvonite, I’ll need to look more into that place as there’s not much available. Only real place I know of is the 9 mile in that area, we tossed up whether to go there but I’ve got a mate already at the 40 mile, so we done a pretty long run today to get there, this old coach will get into most places, we went super singles on both the tag and drive axles last year. Probably had their first good work out coming out to here today on the road from the highway.

Bus
I have an AEC / Leylend, bus, we got in and out of Jane Bay dragging a trailer with a Nissan ute on board without any problems at all. If in doubt give Phil or Jane a phone call at the station and they can fill you in with all the details
The area you camp is only about 60 metres back off the beach behind a sand dune

Rebuild
Rebuilding the interior, tried putting it on the market but all enquiries wanted extra beds not just the queen bed and a shower and toilet so pulled everyhting out and about 1/3 way through with set of bunks added.
The previous owner made the mistake of getting rid of the layflat engine and replacing it with an Isuzu upright that required and engine box in the centre of the floor, making it difficult to fit out. Getting there slowly

Ha, we were the opposite when
Ha, we were the opposite when we bought, only wanted room for 2, but they all had beds for 4,5&6. Took me 6 months to find this one, all I wanted was something with room for 2, a fuel tank that would hold 1200 litres. We had it up for sale early last year. Had a bit of interest, but after wifeys cancer scare, we pulled it out for sale, you only live once and we really love this lifestyle. Shame they stuffed up your with the engine, that probably came with a Gardner motor, I worked on a few of them when I was an apprentice. We are thinking another engine for this, there’s a motor from M.A.N that goes easily into this, uses a lot less fuel and power is better than this, up to about 440hp from this 350hp.

Managed to get the boat in
Managed to get the boat in the water up here the last couple of days, been almost mill pond conditions. Done a bit of damage to the yellowfin whiting population here, about a foot long, between the 3 of us been getting a great feed each day, little queenies have been a pest, but a couple of pan fried whiting fillets in a bun is hard to toss.
