Hi everyone,

We have a 2012 stacer rampage 429 with a 2012 30hp 2stroke mercury with electric start.

We are going to re power with a 40hp (Max hp) 4stroke, currently not sure what brand yet. Will be opting for power trim tilt & electric start, up until now I hadn't noticed that the tiller handle is now more centralised to the outboard rather than being on the left hand side.

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the newer tiller outboards in regards to ergonomics. Or if you can get the tiller on the left side of the outboard?

Also if you have any recommendations in regards to brands in the 40hp range, good bad and ugly.
