hi guys
i believe the season has open, any fisho can guide me and my gal to our 1st abalone picking season, like which location near freo or clarmont area are allow or which are the best place for beginner to try out

Safest and closest is probably Marmion marine park area, athough the new laws are in force theres going to be unpredictable tides and weather in that 5 months imo isnt even worth trying for anymore.
