Abrolhos Tackle Must Haves

Lucky enough to be heading to the Abrolhos at the end of this month and haven't fished there for a while. Thought I'd put this out there for the regular visitors, what do you regard as your "must haves" for bottom bouncing tackle? I have a few jigs and soft placcies, also a bit of trolling gear but I expect we will mainly be dropping baits to the bottom. Taking the usual spare spools of braid, leader etc, just after some advice from the Abrolhos regulars on anything that works particularly well. Don't want to get out there and think "Damn, I wish I had of brought ......"

Cheers,

BD

Heaps of jigs, placcys. Don't forget a pe2-3 casting setup for throwing stick baits at Trout hanging on the shallow (2-4m) coral bombies.  Fkn epic fun!

Casting

Yep, will be taking a light casting set up, never know when you will see a bust up on the surface! Also will take a little squid set up for when moored up at night. Calamari goes down good with a few ales!

Cheers Stevo.

Not sure if it's the same skipper, but when I went on the island leader, squidding was banned as the lazy deckie didn't want to clean ink off the boat
