guess you didnt make it out this weekend, that place is awesome.
we tried a few places to dive, but couldnt for the life of us find any crays around that area...just full of staghorn coral but it was beautiful.
kind of put of diving when we had 5 big sharks surrounding the boat though...
cant wait to get back.

Yer sharks are around on every dive some good size , We have not yet had a fish taken when spearing .they come and go just checking you out . You need to find the plate coral even 2m deep will hold crays. what was the weather like

we found the plate coral in 5m and didnt see a single cray.
weather was pretty good - much better than i expected to be honest. only wish was that the area to be much better surveyed, had a few hairy moments.
especially that public mooring site on the pelsart group, pretty sure i didnt see a passage in to the mooring.

that was coral patches...
pretty hairy place on the last day with the sun rising and a strong easterly visibiliy ofwasnt that great we found ourselves aground again...lucky no damage was done.
having said that that place is awesome and cant wait to go back.
