Albany Yellowtail Kingfish

Hi Guys
A quickie before I head down to Albany.
My mate texed a pic of a 15lb Yellowtail Kingfish he caught this morning a Cables beach Albany.
Nice looking fish.

Havent spoke to him yet,his phone went flat.He uses poppers to chase Salmon which is what he was doing when he caught it.

Caught a few small ones so far down here. But heard of a few decent one's caught - no stonkers though mate. Still, a 15kg one would give you a decent run ay?
Good luck with the weather and fishing if you poke the bow out mate!

15lb,it was on a soft plastic right up the end off the rocks where people trade their lives with Davy Jones for fish.Nice fish,tasted awsome,BUT NOT WORTH THE RISK!!!
