Submitted by Iceman on Thu, 2013-10-17 11:09
4 weeks until I head up to Quobba for the 5th time with 3 mates. Arrive 16th. Anyone heading that way in the next few weeks. Will be staying in the North Cabin so come over for drink and chat if up there the same time.
After last year looking forward to once again tackling those sharkies and spaniards. Yet to catch a Tuna so here hoping this trip I can bag one.
No women so looking forward to the peace and quiet!!!!!

Wind in November
Wind is normaly SE in the morning with speed between 10-20knots. By lunch time seabreeze kicks in and wind increases to 25-30knots.
Still plenty of places to fish in the morning with some protection from the wind.
The swell is a factor when determining where we will fish ie spots on lower ledges or higher up like Garths ledge
