G'day guys
Been checking the site for a while, thought I'd register as it seems like a pretty cool site.
Recognise a few names from other places.
Havent really got the hang of the layout of the forum so if I stuff up let me know!

Just click on recent posts once you're up to date. You'll get the hang of it in no time. Check out Fredo's pics from the French Riviera if you get a chance, they're awesome.

G'day Jim,
Welcome to fishwrecked. Underneath the fishwrecked logo at the top are most of the options, the forums, videos and photo galleries.
If you want to add photo's to the site, it is create content -> image and then upload. If you resize your photo's they will upload much faster.
The site has been up for about 6 months, so I'm still working on getting the hang of the forum layout too. :)
Anyway, look foward to hearing some of your own fishing experiences. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Hard to say
I really enjoy all species, but love going offshore at the sandbar at Rocky bay in freo, chasing flathead on soft plastics with my son or going hard into sambos, dhu fish in kalbarri, you name it!
Read a bit about the trips to exmouth, really keen to get into the fish up there... a marlin would be sick!!

Sounds like your into your fishing in a big way Davo. Still to land my first marlin yet, to say that the excitement on the boat is electric is an understatement. I think I have already started to lose sleep over the potential of landing one in Exmouth, and if I'm not losing sleep its day dreaming. One of these days now, hopefully!!
Anyway, I look foward to hearing a few stories and reports and its great to hear that your getting the little man into it at a young age. :)

There are a few girls on the site, but it is generally overloaded by the gents. Hopefully a few more girls will sign up as the site grows. But, there are a few punters who think fishing is sacred ground for the boys only, especially when the call comes, lambchop - I need another prawn, I need my hook baited, I need my fish released. Hehehe, all in good fun Poida. :))
Gribbo's partner Bel has got the hang of it and regularly outfishes him of late.
