Caught two Dhuies One bout 6.5 kg ( that we kept) the other undersize so it was easliy released - no Snapper which was surprising given the blow- we had a good berley trail going and usually do ok on the Pinkys. Couple of small rays and a Port Jacko. Quite lumpy still and a solid swell moving through - also heaps of sea lice stripping baits - guess thats seasonal though.
Have had a few reasonable reports coming through the shop since our last blow of northerlys. Pinkies to 10kg have been caught in 25m of water so around the 8mile area. Smaller fish in bigger numbers have been in the 12-17m mark, which has made for fun fishing on the lighter gear. King george have been in reasonable numbers in between dunsborough and the cape, with the sand holes in the 3-6m mark being most successful. Squid and crabs have been consistent, all the way back to siesta park has been dynamite for crabs. Herring and skippy with the odd salmon have been caught both from the boats and from the stones all the way back to the lighthouse. Dhufish have been popping up in the bay, with no really big Specimens caught, but all 5-8kg. Dont hesitate to drop into the store and we can help you out with anything else you need.
