went out with BJ to product test bucktail jigs on sbt, we released about 10 that were caught trolling. we couldn't find any to cast too. it was a bit of a fun session. Tried dropping jigs for demersals but no luck.

Hardtail bucktail. Have trolled them before with success. Just find the bait schools and troll around them.

There were lots of schools working out of two rocks on the surface but very flighty we hooked 3 but didn't land any unfortunately but bagged out on dermersals

Surface
Never saw any hitting the surface, just trolled around bait schools and birds. Put the lures a bit further back if they're spooky. Pulled a few hooks on trolling minnows but the single jig hook saw a positive hook set every time.
All still swimming.

We had a good little session
We had a good little session yesterday , got a triple hookup on the troll then nailed a few more on jig as the school sat below our boat for a good 10 minutes . Fun on PE1.
