Anyone a bowls player on here? (Not fishing related)

Gday everyone,
wanted to ask the question as to whether there were any lawn bowlers on here? I used to play a bit back in the day, but starting to think as I am fast approaching the dreaded 40, now would be a good time to get back into it and hone my skills. Looking at getting another set of bowls, and keeping the old bar fly’s some company down basso bowls club.
Anyone else on here regularly give it a roll up? And if so whereabouts.

geez you getting old. used to play that silly game myself . havnt done for about 10 years now. im just about at the 50 mark . just too busy to play now days. but who would guess a 12 second green is slow and a 20 second green fast

I play socially but that is only once a year with my old in the annual father/son games at Sorrento. I dont mind rolling them down, I do alright for someone who doesn't play that often but don't think I'll ever do it more often than I do now. Regulars there keep asking when me when I'm going to play more often, seeing as my brother played a fair bit at the club and does the whole shebang with the Airforce but nah, don't think thats going to happen...I'll happily come by more often and keep the bartenders busy though

Love the game, really takes skill and a fine touch but at 66 it is a young mans game

Play a few events known again scano - might see you around the traps if you going in any state events mate.
