Anyone have a Genesis 640xl Hard Top

 Hey Fisho's

I am reaching out to see if anyone on here has a Genesis 640xl Hard Top that I can come have a look at? Im tossing up whether to sell my 2 boats and build the 1 boat that is in the middle of the sizes. Pretty much if I can get $160k for my 7.5m hard top and my 5m quintrex I will pul the trigger on a new boat

Cheers

Pig

Yeah it is pretty tough..... Definently a first world problem

The reason is the 7.5 is a little too big..... the 5m is a little too small..... So thinking about 1 in the middle.

Ive spoken to Genesis, they dont have a 6.4 currently being built

Cheers

7.5m got a drive on trailer

7.5m got a drive on trailer ?...cant see any other reason for it being too big even if solo, doesn't sound like the cost of fuel is an issue.

But if you dont have crew on it a least a couple times a year then yeah the 6.5 would be plenty.

I would of went 7m but I chose 6.1 purely for a bit easier beach launching and dragging it around on shitty roads. My 6.1 weight will be 2 tonne wet, 7+  will be upwards of 3t or more

Keep the big boat you’ll kick yourself in the long run.

I'm launching and retrieving an 8.5m Sharkcat solo with no issues. Set your trailer up with a ladder on the the bow. Dunk the trailer, hop up the ladder start the donk and have her in gear pushing forwards on the trailer. Head back to the front and disconnect all your chains then it's a quick reverse and tie up to the jetty. Getting back on is the reverse. From a ride point of view there's no way I'd ever go back to a smaller boat. Come to think of it were considering going even bigger....:)
