so who is going where tomorow?
i am gunna go out and play with my new 1kw tranny south side of rotto 40-60mtrs,
also wana try my underwater camera out for the first time, bit of a muck around day and still drop a line or 2.

I am heading out of ocean reef, it will be my first time fishing the outer side of the reef so it might be a bit hit and miss.

Transducer
Cheers Ron, good luck with the transducer, can be a bit of a Head f--- with the southwinds transom but maybe ya running a wet box, also using a 1kw trannie, Kodan cvs128, will keep an eye out for ya but we might be just a tad futher south from ya. have a good day mate.

spot on with the transomsom step up issuse,
with the transom mount i lost reading at 10+knts, went with the p79 wetbox and perfect till about 30+knts, now i have just installed the 1kw wetbox m260 to test tomorow and see the differance.
never know where we will end up? but more than likely just a muck around day in the 40-60's.

No Ron no name on it mate, but flick us a pm and let us know how the Tranny goes, or give us an update on 96 or 73(vhf) if you like. i had the same prob but the Kodan lost everything at 19knts. you didnt Buy the Southwind from Dean in Mandurah by any chance ? any way mate wont keep killing the thread so catch you out there.
