Anyone from Kalbarri?

Will be heading up that way from the 18th to the 27th of this month. Will be solo until the long weekend, just wondering if there is anyone up that way that would fancy catchijg up for a fish. Will be bringing up a newly acquired 4.7 stacer as well. Real inexperienced boaty so if you have a bit of experience of kalbarri waters and you fancy a day out on a boat let me know!

http://fishwrecked.com/forum/kalbarri-offshore      This links to a previous thread on the subject, lots of good information.  On the subject of the rivermouth, look in ther boating section under WA launching sites. I did up a package on that, unfortunately they then added three more markers and i haven't updated the photos. You can ignore the yellow/ black one furthest north, and the outermost green one as well, apart from actually running into them. Rivermouth is fine unless the swell is getting up to 2 metres. It is not a "bar" as such, like they have on the east coast, you are running parallel to the breakers as you go out. Only proviso is that it is all a bit uglier on a run-out tide, keep to the west side of the channel as delineated by the two inner green markers and you'll be fine. Remember to log in/out with VMR Kalbarri on ch 90 on your 27mhz radio, or on your VHF.

Edit--I have updated the picture . Find it at fishwrecked.com/forum/western-australian-boat-launching-sites-information#comment-613822    there are a couple of green markers inside the river which you csnnot see in the picture, just keep them on your left going OUT, as usual ( on your right coming in to port)
