Anyone up for a syndicate to go thirds in this boat north of the river? I still have the lease on a pen in Mindarie we could use!

Cost
Best quote is around $6500. Would be looking to negotiate at least half that off the purchase price.

so its about 20k each yeah
so its about 20k each yeah plus yearly expenditure
how much is the expenditure?
getting the bottom line final answer from a bunch of blokes that use false names and put smiley faces at the end of paragraphs is not the best place in the world to get the information you seek.

I would say by the time it
I would say by the time it is here in WA, serviced and antifouled you'd be looking closer to 26 or 27k each anything not spent would go into the service pool for the next something it needs. It would be about 2k each per year for the pen and then they say allow 10% of the purchase price per year for maintenance.
Still not a cheap exercise. And I was only really saying I would love to own something like that but can't afford to buy my own.
There are a few boat club type syndicates around but they seem to concentrate more on the cruiser/pleasure type boats rather than fishing boats. I think that is because a fishing boat can look a bit ratty if not well cared for whereas with a cruiser you are more cleaning up spilt wine than tuna oil!
