Anyone want to tow a tinny to exmouth mid - late Aug?

Just putting the feelers out there,
I'll give a competent person with experience towing $200 cash to tow a 5.5M Aluminium C/C from Perth the Exmouth.
The boat should be in Perth around the 19th of Aug, so if your heading up this way and want to have most of you fuel paid for let me know.
The boats on a tandam axle trailer with cable brakes and weighs around 1600kgs.
Cheers
Luke

I expect
that you may need to up the $$ a bit Luke? two hundred bucks doesn't seem like a lot for 12/1300 kays. In my petrol Prado the difference between towing our similar size boat or not towing anything would be around 150 litres. $200 would not even cover that and then there's the extra wear on the car and the hassle of towing. And no, I'm not heading up there in the near future, so I'm not trying to get money out of you. I just wonder if you had considered the cost for someone to do this for you.

Not sure if that is correct
Checked this before when going up North. I may be wrong so happy to be corrected.Nothing else (that I could find) in the act mentions dual axles/90kmh speed limits.
Current Road Traffic Act -
Heavy vehicles and vehicles towing trailers(1) This regulation is subject to any other provisions of these regulations prescribing a maximum speed for any vehicle lower than that prescribed by this regulation.
(2) A person shall not drive a vehicle to which a trailer or other vehicle is attached at a speed exceeding 100 km/h.
Points and modified penalty: see regulation 17.
(3) A person shall not drive a vehicle, the GVM of which, taking into account any trailer attached and including the total load carried, is more than 12 t, at a speed exceeding 100 km/h.
Points and modified penalty: see regulation 17.
(4) A person shall not drive a bus with a GVM over 5 t at a speed exceeding 100 km/h.
Points and modified penalty: see regulation 17.

Luke, mate I will be down in
Luke, mate I will be down in perth around the 27th and driving back to Coral Bay on the 29th.
To tow a boat up to CB, I would use around $400-450 in fuel ( new 2013, 70 series landcruser, v8 turbo diesal ).
If you can pick it up from CB and cover the fuel, then I would think about it.
Noting that:
1, All care is taken, but I would not be liable for any damage sustained to the boat or trailer, during transit from Perth to Coral Bay.
2, Any repairs to tyres, bearings etc, would be at your cost.
3, Insurance is your responcibility.
4, The trailer must be in top condition, licenced.
5, Bearings must be repacked ( Grease ).
6, Boat must be secured to the trailer.
7, 7 pin trailer plug

driving trailers is 100 km
driving trailers is 100 km regardless of axel.....the cops at Carnarvon pulled me over for a loss of number plate and reminded me about the speed limit in may...
straight from the officers in blue themselves.
they were lads let me off the no rego plate on my trailer.....(I lost it on the last day in exxy)

Hlokk
Where's Hlokk when you need him. Additional weight of boat to car x increase in fuel usage over 100km x size of vehicle x engine size x distance x variance for overtaking, surely he'd have an answer. ;)
