Dawn service
We will be standing out front of the roadhouse from 0530 listening to the service on ABC radio and remembering our fallen soldiers followed by a gunfire breakfast, Going to be a huge crowd of 5 of us

We were in Peaceful bay for last years and were meant to be in Exmouth for this year. Driveway job for us, rain hail or shine.

Rain Shower
Standing out by the road at 0530 and we copped our first rain shower for ages, we all stood there and got soaked, nothing compared to what our forebears copped many decades ago.

Was still quite poignant
Was still quite poignant with all the families on the street paying their respects.

Driveway for us
ABC 5:30 service with what's left of the family at home. Bit miffed that only 2 families from the whole street got out.

Hell our street was full
An avenue of candlelight but the Anzac app so heavily promoted failed.....worked for a minute then ABC coverage dropped out and couldn't be restored but it didn't detract from the solemn experience

It was a pleasant surprise to see so many of my street turn out at 0545 this morning and a most humbling experience.

Really pleasing in our part
Really pleasing in our part of town. We are opposite a cul-de-sac and 7 out of the 9 houses had people out the front Candles two doors down to the left and 3 doors down to the right.
I cant help but think it would have been the biggest physical turnout to a Anzac day and brought a tear to my eye during the last post.
I had my radio at full noise and would have gladly offended anyone that wasnt already out there.
