Ascot/Garrat Street Bridge to Rottnest

I was wondering as a rough guide how long it would take from Ascot area in the river to Rottnest in a 25ft fibreglass with 150HP outboard. Obviously conditions pending just curious just scheduling out a trip.

You've got 5kn limit until Maylands, then 8kn limit until you hit the Graeme Farmer bridge, then mostly unrestricted until Pt Walter, then 8kn all the way to the river mouth.  It takes me 40-45mins to get from Nedlands to the river mouth.  From Ascot it's at least that distance again, but with more speed restrictions, so I'd say you're looking at 1hr 45 to get to the river mouth.  From there it's 12nm to Thomsons, so half an hour in good conditions.

Worth trolling from Karakatta Bank all the way down to East Freo.  Can pick up tailor etc.

For me takes just over an hour in good conditions (25 to 35kts on the ocean/river and sticking to limits when required) from Crawly to Rotto double that on the way back if rough.

Took the family for a cruise to Garvey park in Ascot over Christmas and there is extra restrictions on Sunday (day we went) through Maylands took about 1.5hrs.
