Attention Gnaraloo regulars

We, Carnarvon Sea Rescue want to know if anyone has plotted their way in to the moorings in Gnaraloo bay and wants to pass them on to us.

The reason being--- if we get a call out at night up that way we don't have a track to follow to get in. All my fishing trips have been in daylight hours using landmarks without plotting it on a GPS.

With an eye on the weather we are going to make a weekend of it and take the new boat up that way so that the members who haven't been there have some experience with the area and conditions but with some on shift work and weather being shirty on weekends we are running out of time this season.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Trail

Thanks heaps if you can get it to me.

Have been up there once or twice a years for about 10-12 years but never needed to come in in the dark and if we did we would have had our snail trail from leaving in the morning.

No problems with the "Billy Goat " track , its just where you turn south and run down the seaward side of the inner reef and around the bommies.

Points

Have got one set and will stick them in tomorrow morning to see how they look.

Would be nice if I could get more than one track and post them on the site so all can have a look but won't until I get permission from the owners of the points.

I know this is a old post but just saw it pop up. If still intrssted I have 2 seperate track lines in that are good for my boat with 1.4m draft down to a 0.4 tide without touching.
