Excuse my ignorance but Im an old abc listening man mostly nowadays but after recently watching the Avicii doco on Netflix I feel twenty again.
What a talent!
Makes me wanna throw a couple of green Mitzis down and bounce.
Throw some good head phones on and you tube some of his best live performances!
Also check out tributes to him at Tomorrowland!
In particular - Martin Garrix and Hardwell.

Twas the rave season of 98/99. That particular NYE I attended an event called Tasty in what is now Capitol/Amplifier along with a shirtless and gurning Ben Cousins but nothing will ever come close to this one a few weeks later.

Watched it over the Chrissy
Watched it over the Chrissy holidays on the New 75"...a talent for sure, one of the first to start the mixing like that I'm pretty sure....funny I don't think i'd really heard of his name although knowing many of the songs over the years.
Was sad to watch he had died....My wife said he made a lot of noise around the big stars and child exploitation etc...nek minute...

Avicii
have watched it .. very cool but I'm
from those days sliver fox was talking
about and I don't think we've missed
out too much ? Did most big day outs
with the likes of prodigy chemical brothers
fat boyslim and the likes and wasn't
much of a techno head either but they
were glory days ..

I think I was at that one. Roni Size with his MPC on his lap and band behind him. Carl Cox came on next?

Fatboy Slim wasn't it? We left to watch Manson only to discover he'd punched a punter after a bottle split the drummer and they stormed off. Boiler room was full by the time we came back so set up camp for Korn

Think I’m talking about
Think I’m talking about different years. Seems that Carl Cox was there in 2001. Looking at the lineups there were some wicked acts over the years.

I watched some of it but turned it off pretty quick, not my cup of tea at all. Bit too old for it.

Prodigy... my first ever
Prodigy... my first ever concert, supported by Regurgitator at the entertainment centre. The security staff didn’t like people standing up to dance and constantly forced punters to sit back down. Obviously had no idea how to move along with a good bassline.
Enjoy tonight!

Amazing Boon. They ditched
Amazing Boon. They ditched the usual tunes like Poison and Their Law for a dancier setlist. Awesome crowd vibe with a bunch of Gen X and Gen Y throwing off the shackles and reliving the glory days... minus the mitsos
