Hi Guys n Gals,
I'm away in Shark Bay for the Denham fishing fiesta for the rest of this week. I've only just got internet access so will respond to your private messages as soon as I can. Apologies to those that have been waiting.
Cheers,

No probs Colin, any time. :)
Unfortunately dont have any more time to respond to heaps of PM's and threads I would like to. Back in Exmouth tomorrow arvo so will get back into the swing of things and post up some comments in related threads.

Denham fishing fiesta - Results
Back from Denham, though I would give you a quick run down from the comp results.
Best Red Emperor : 7.5kg
Best Spangled Emperor : 4.8kg
Best Tailor : 5.65kg
Best Mulloway : 10.5kg
Best Estuary Cod : 16.5kg
Best Black Snapper : 3.9kg
Best Coral Trout : 4.6kg
Best Spanish Mack : 22.0kg
Best Baldie/Bluebone : 4.5kg
(these are generalised weights, official weights will be in the Inscription Post, these are just the main categories I can remember)
The last 4 days of the comp blew 20+ knots from the south east and severly hampered fishing efforts. Some guys went out and braved it to Dirk Hartog and took 5 hours to return! The tailor that won their part of the comp were bloody good fish. The size of the mulloway were a little disappointing, but the bad weather really hampered people's efforts.
Apparently Steep Point is still closed from the rains a while back, along with the national parks, if you are planning to head up that way.
Cheers,
Adam
