This sambo was caught on a homemade repco spanner jig

Yeah didnt want to say anything at risk of sounding like a wank but I will be and would estimate that at 35kg MAX. Al may be a damn good charter operator but my god does he like to overestimate size of fish!

As for the weight of the fish...who really cares, it's a sambo!!! Coulda been a odd angle for the photo???
I know the perils of taking photo's of fish...I'm 6'5" and not exactly small and my photo's never seem to do the fish justice!!!! lol
