Sitting round bored yestrday when when we get the idea to go fo a fish. But, seeing the wind and that it would be a problem launching the tinny we decided to go chase a feed of bream for lunch both of my ligh reels were in pieces so handlines it was.
Rang up a mate to invite him to find out hat he was down south so i forfilled a promise i made to his little brother n take him fishing.
we went for a drive don to the marina olny to find people were already fishing in my favouruite spots we went down to the river. takeing a track off the road we riged up and started to fish quickely producing 3 undersized brem with a good 30cm shortly after then in qick succession another 2 26cm black bream went in the esky after all going quiet and running out of bait we cut up a trumpeter hopeing to intise a larger bream to come out and play within the nex 20 min we landed another 5 keeping 2 size ones then once again it went quiet.
we moved round to under the bridge where things were a bit slower still using trumpeter as bait we got another 28cm bb all going quiet we hooked into another 30cm taged bream then it was my mate little brother's turn to produce catching a nice little 27cm bream on his little rod that he braught with him.
8 bream in the ekey and longing for a good feed of bream that night it was an afternoon well spent ad not a bd effort for 2 handlines and a rod.

I bet they taste good but you need to watch your bag limit. Your only aloud to have 6 black bream and 2 over 40cm. if you want the big ones use strips of mullet

Had a brain fart didn't read it. All good mate. I rate bream highly nice firm white meat. I roll them in egg then bread crumbs and shallow fry in butter. Mmmmm awesome.
