i havent noticed a decline at all
Good size herring everywhere
Although I wouls add that 15 is more than enough.

Who neads more than 15 herrring? If they're that easy to catch, just go back the next day if you want more!

Ah well everyone is entitled
Ah well everyone is entitled to their opinion, i reckon leave it as it is.Then you have enough for a feed fresh, some to smoke and a few left over for bait.Wouldnt have the time to go back the next day,usually once every couple of weeks.Which works out to a lot less than 15 a day over 2 weeks.Its the greedy that the rules are made for, to go back each day and take 30 or even 15 a day is overkill quetion is where do you draw the line.

I think cutting the limit is the right thing, some days even in the metro area, during winter the herring go mad. This year itself my dad and I could have easily bagged out on herring on five different occasions but we stopped at around 10 each and released all our fish we caught after.
