Be careful guys..Do not introduce (its illegal) yabbies into streams that do not already contain them. They will destroy the marron and other natives crustaceans. They are restricted to where you can take then.
Sell them dead if you must.

Actually fisheries will have your balls if your transport them to places without them. Perhaps one of the more learned board members can fill us in on that? I have this vague memory of no where south of albany highway?

I had a bit of a google and
I had a bit of a google and found a reg that says only male yabbies can be sold live and no yabbie under 25 grams as they cant be accurately sexed. There is an official "yabbie line" where yabbies are not allowed thru the SW corner
