bali fishing charters

hey guys
going to bali in october and while there me and a mate where thinking about going on a fishing charter (its to get away from the wifes and shopping for a day) just want to know if its worth doing and by who, or sit in the bar pool drinking and perving?

Hmmm both are top activities.
Hmmm both are top activities. Went on one many years ago up there it was all handlines but we still caught some good fish.Just watching the skipper untangle the handlines was worth the trip.

go for a dive...
One of my mates that I dive with came back from there a few days ago with some amazing photos from a dive he did on the Liberty Wreck, Tulamben... All day with travel and including all the gear and camera hire and 2 1st class dives was $110.. If you don't have your diving ticket don't worry, he has his PADI but his misus doesn't, so when she went with him the last time, she was able to go acompanied with a dive master...

had a ball for a while on somebody elses jetski!! can go out for a fish from the same place but was pricey and they couldn't guarantee anything will be caught, from memory it was about 130 us for three hours trolling

when there last xmas me and my son hired the skis for some fun, while out there i come across a small shark about 60cm floating on top of the water, must of been run over by one of the many,many,many water craft screaming around, just made me wonder what else was there?

A mate of mine said to me the other day that he knows an Aussie bloke in Bali that does charters for $50 and puts on a full BBQ breakfast and a carton of piss.
Sounds good to me spewin I didn't know about it when I was there. I'll try find out the name for u mate and post it tomorrow

Pretty sure they are called that. they do long range trips and day trips for big GTs and yellowfin tuna, my mate just hires a local to take him out to the dive sites after GTs and red bass and coral trout but bring your own gear.
