Barges

Hi guys,

I've been wanting to try jigging for sambo's on my boat for ages but i don't know where to go. I was wondering if anybody would be willling to PM me know the coordinates of the barges.

just head out west of rotto and look for the boat parking lot out there. you cant miss it unless your out there first

Not bad we hooked up a fair share but those mongrels kept takin em off us haha i am very lucky to only lose 1 jig but the others not so lucky haha. Great day out reguardless

Well done guys. Where in the water column were you getting them? I ended up heading out with Craig on Saturday and we struggled to get any fish on jigs. Craig said the fish appeared to be on the bottom 20m but we weren't getting hits.

Turts we were finding schools but they were moving very fast. We got a decent amount of hits and hook ups but sharks got the better of us. We only ended up boating 5 ambers not bad in size. will see if russ(seaswirl) will put up the photos soon

we were out there as well on saturday, and would have to agree, they were hard work and few and far between on the jigs.  However we didnt end up getting sharked on any of them getting 3 sambos (was nice to get the first arm stretching of the season).
