Thanks for the link, been there before. Nice boats but cost a fortune to get that way. My boat slams down when on the plane, but dosn't porpose, been reading about outboards on pods, nothing much available, but it is possible I have the outboard prop too low. Wondering what effect the pod may have on boat performance, as opposed to having the motor out on a frame. The thing is I've yet to read any bad comments on a Barons performance.
I'd look into the pod idea. U get more useable space ie ladder etc and the pod becomes an extension of ur hull length. it would prob look better too. a friend did a 17 princess inboard conversion into a 19 foot with twin 60 honda's. its a weapon and he reminds me he has an extra 6 inches:) it was quite cheap too if u don't mind getting ur hands dirty with the fibreglass. he's away but will get u his number if u wanna check it out
