Hey fellas
If I was to fish for sharks off a beach, how far would I need the bait to be out to have any sort of luck, 30-50-100 meters, if im not ballooning, and would it be best to do it at night?
Cheers

mate, I've caught sharks
mate, I've caught sharks within 10m of the beach, and others out further, 50-60m. Really depends on the beach you are fishing - any gutters? weed levels, Pickers, the amount of burley in the water, depth, reef?

all relates to what leemo
all relates to what leemo said about what type of beach you fish, but IMO it should have a deep drop off as thats where sharks tend to hang around/feed
Good things come to those who bait

and to your answer yes night
and to your answer yes night time is alot more productive for sharks, use fresh baits and lot's of berly! aslong as it isnt a popular beach swimming spot..
